Who We Are
The Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF) UNO Chapter is excited to announce its revitalization this year (2024), reconnecting with sister chapters at Creighton University and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). OCF serves as a vital campus ministry, dedicated to bringing hope, love, and a sense of community to the sharp minds of university students, who are often navigating the challenges of young adulthood—balancing the beauty of new discoveries with the reality of a broken world.
With the support of local parish priests, OCF aims to introduce students to a distinctive form of Christianity: one that is Catholic but not Roman, Evangelical but not Protestant, and Apostolic and Ancient, yet often unfamiliar in today's world. We offer a space for spiritual growth, learning, and fellowship, where students can explore their faith, ask meaningful questions, and find guidance in their spiritual journey. Beyond just being a place of introduction, OCF is committed to providing genuine care and concern for the spiritual well-being of students, nurturing them as they grow in their faith and understanding of Christ's love.
Whether you are an Orthodox Christian, a seeker, or someone simply curious about spirituality, OCF welcomes you. Join us in discovering the rich heritage of Orthodox Christianity and building lasting relationships rooted in faith and compassion.
