Movie Night: Man of God
When:
October (Official Date TBD)
Where: All Holy Spirit Greek Orthodox Church
- Address: 450 South 193rd Street, Elkhorn, NE
Event Info:
Join us for an inspiring evening at our OCF Movie Night! We’ll be watching Man of God, a powerful film that portrays the life of Saint Nektarios of Aegina. St. Nektarios, our Student Organization’s Saint of the Month, is a figure whose story resonates with anyone who has ever faced challenges, felt misunderstood, or wondered about their purpose.

Man of God isn’t just a film—it’s an experience. Written and directed by Yelena Popovic, known for her work on L.A. Superheroes (2013) and Cast Away (2000), this movie beautifully captures the trials of a man who, despite being exiled, convicted without trial, and slandered, never lost sight of his mission to preach the Word of God. Saint Nektarios’ journey is one of profound faith, resilience, and spiritual strength, making it a must-see for anyone interested in spirituality, justice, and the power of perseverance. Whether you’re a Christian looking to connect more deeply with your faith, someone curious about Orthodox spirituality, are a college student searching for a film that offers more than the usual fare or if you are simply just looking for something to do, this event is for you!

Come for the movie, stay for the fellowship, and leave inspired. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to watch a story that will challenge, uplift, and inspire you! All are welcome!
